As you can tell from all the recent photo's, Salmon catching has been quite fun! On the left is a group from Spokane, Wash. that landed 12 in 2 days. 8 keepers and 4 throw backs. The father - son below 5 one fine day. largest went 23 lbs. minus guts! Had a group from Montana that landed 9 keepers in 2 days catching and thru back 3 others.

This has been so much fun and no one is fishing.....  Around Orofino you might see 3 or 4 boats a day. Downriver you will a few more. Above Orofino there has been a few locals.

The 4  anglers below did really well this past week. The guy in the green jacket better have bought Lottery tickets!  His rod bent over 7 times in one morning! Every time he turned around we had fish on!

Today we could go anywhere we wanted without ever having another boat in our way. You could fish any technique you wanted, didn't have to worry about someone else's line.

Idaho Fish and Game haven't considered closing our season. They even raised the total bag limit from 20 a season to 40 a season! The reason the daily limit is 1 adult, to keep the season open longer and to give anglers more opportunity to fish more waters. When asked this past spring, most anglers wanted a reduced bag limit to keep the season open longer. It isn't because we don't have fish, we have 3 or 4 times last year.

Boy what a season! I would like to Thank everyone that came catching with us this past 09/10 season! We sure experienced some interesting people and some interesting times!

Biggest catch of the season this year went to a little lady from Boise, Idaho. Linda Savage landed a 23lber!

Unfortunately we can't show the photo. A law enforcement feller from NOAA Fisheries, one Eric Morgan, issued us a warning citation for showing photos of wild fish on our website. Eric stated if we put photos of wild fish back on our site we could be fined as much as $450.00 per photo. He stated we were harassing an endangered species. Every other website that Steelhead and Salmon fishes in this state can show photos of wild fish,  just not us.... For some reason we are being singled out or possibly being used as a pawn...............   Send him a note and ask them why. They would love to hear from you! His email address is in blue with their name.

This feller on the right is Duncan Hunter. Duncan was a Presidential candidate in the 08 election. He thinks Idaho is the best thing that ever happened!

Yahoo!!!!

Yes there has been some really nice fish in the river this past season! This season will definitely go into the record book as one the better seasons for catching giant sea-run rainbows!

Poke around and see how well we have been doing on the river! Lots of smiles and happy anglers!

Yahhoooooo!!!
